Kasimir Kasawierski, a nobleman (Edelmann), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Husaren on 13 June 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4 along with his wife Maria and son Johann Adam (age 1).

The 1767 census records that Kasimir Kasawierski came from the Polish village of Brody [?].
