The 1798 census of Frank records the children of Adam Kaufmann from Shcherbakovka in Household No. Fk089.
The 1767 census records that Johann Adam Kaufmann came from the German region of Aßling [?].
Eichhorn book records that a Johann Adam Kaufmann from the Principality of Hohenlohe immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1762, but it has not been confirmed that this is the same Johann Adam Kaufmann who eventually settled in the Volga German colony of Shcherbakovka.
