Keil (Müller)
Johann[es] Keil, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and sons (Johann, age 19; Konrad, age 15) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.
They are recorded on the 1767 census of Müller in Household No. 32. They had settled there on 16 August 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann[es] Keil came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Babenhausen in the Darmstadt region.
