Kelbermarter
Johann Kelbermater [sic] and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 54 along with his brother-in-law Johann Philipp Hirschfeld.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Kelbermater was a cobbler while the 1767 census records that Joseph [sic] Kelbermater was a farmer.
The 1834 census of Göbel records in Household No. 105 that Valentin Kelbermarter relocated from Pfeifer to Göbel.
Valentin Kelbermerter [sic] from Göbel and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Marienfeld.
The 1767 census records that Joseph Kelbermater came from the district of Raron [in the Canton of Valais] in Switzerland.
