Kilianus Kitschler from Stift [diocese of] Fulda & Maria Margaretha Her [sic] from Heuchelheim near Giessen were married on 15 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Friedberg.
Kilian Kitschler, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 5 along with an orphan Elisabeth [surname not recorded] (age 16). They had settled there on 15 July 1767.
Kilian Kitschler and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm59.
The death of Kilian Kitschler in 1818 is recorded on the 1834 census of Seelmann in Household No. 131.
The 1767 census records that Kilian Kitschler came from the German region of Fulda.
There appear to be no surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
