Klaum*
Martin Klaum, a wheelwright (Wagenbauer), his wife Anna, and daughters (Anna, age 18; Elisabeth, age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Jager under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 108 along with a note that Martin died on 24 September 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Martin Klaum came from the German region of Kollmar. The 1767 census records that Anna Elisabeth Klaum came from the German village of Polkniz [?] in the Darmstadt district.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
