Widow Katharina Klein and her son Konrad (age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 on a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.

Widow Katharina Klein and her son Konrad (age 18) are recorded on the 1767 census of Preuss in Household No. 134. They had settled there on 15 July 1767.

Konrad Klein and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Preuss in Household No. Ps16.

The death of Konrad Klein in 1798 is recorded on the 1811 census of Preuss in Household No. 69.

Jakob, Johann Wilhelm, and Anton Klein, sons of Konrad Klein, are recorded on the 1811 census of Preuss in Household No. 69 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Dehler in 1800.

Wilhelm Klein is recorded on the 1811 census of Dehler in Household No. 40 along with a note that he had arrived in Dehler from Preuss in 1800.

Jakob Klein and his brother Anton Klein are recorded on the 1811 census of Dehler in Household No. 52 along with a note that they had arrived in Dehler from Preuss in 1800.

Konrad's sons (Jakob, Wilhelm, and Anton) are each recorded on the 1834 census of Dehler in Households No. 50, 3, & 53, respectively.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Katharina Klein came from the German region of Bayern [Bavaria]. The 1767 census records that Katharina Klein came from the German village of Freimersheim in the region of Bayern [Bavaria].
