Kloberdanz (Norka)
Johannes Kloberdantz, son of Johann Reinhardt Kloberdantz, was born in Gettenbach, between Büdingen and Gelnhausen, on 22 March 1733. He married there on 16 November 1758 to Catharina. Their son Johann Conrad was born there on 18 April 1760 and baptized 21 April 1760. Gettenbach was part of the Gründau parish.
The family immigrated to Russia, arriving at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda. They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 48.
Johannes Kloberdanz, his wife Katharina, and children (Konrad, age 14; Christoph, age 7; Katharina, age 3) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 51.
In 1834, Konrad Kloberdanz moved from Norka to Schwed.
