Knoll (Paulskaya)*
Widow Anna Knoll and her sister widow Anna Dorothea Knoll arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Anna Elis. Knorr [sic] and her sister Doroth. are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 7 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 38 along with Anna's daughter and son-in-law Johannes Karl.
The 1767 census records that both Anna & Anna Dorothea came from the German region of Darmstadt.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Knoll family among the Volga German colonies.
