Johann Adam Koch, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 16¼; Johann, age 15; Katharina, age 12; Anna [again], age 10¼; Katharina [again], age 8; Johann [again], age 6¼, Johann [again], age 2¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Eva Maria under the command of Skipper Franz Christopher Schröder.
Johann Adam Koch, his wife Anna, and children (Anna Magdalena, age 16; Johann Heinrich, age 12; Catharina, age 12; Anna Barbara, age 12; Catharina Elisabeth, age 8; Johann Adam, age 6¼; Johann, age 2) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that all of the sons and daughter Catharina died en route.
Adam Koch, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Margaretha, age 17; Barbara, age 11; Anna Katharina, age 11; Johannes, age 9-months) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits (Household No. 17) that is appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.
Johannes Koch (age 30) is recorded on the 1798 census of Zürich in Household No. Zr10.
The Oranienbaum passenger list does not record from where this Koch family came. The 1767 census records that this Adam Koch came from the German village of Eitaksisia?.
