Discussion & Documentation

Johann Adam Körner, a farmer, his wife Gertrude, and daughter Maria (age 10) are recorded on the 1767 census of Hildmann in Household No. 37. They had settled there on 20 June 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Adam Körner came from the German village of Leipa in the region of Böhmen (Bohemia).

There are no known surviving male lines of this Körner family among the Volga German colonies.
