Martin Kraft, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 27 March 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25 along with his wife Maria Louisa, their son Hans Georg (age 1), and stepson Sina [?] Kifler (age 6).
The 1767 census records that Martin Kraft came from the German region of Kurpfalz and that his wife came from Paterburg.
