Johann Christoph Kramer & Maria Justina Müller were married on 31 March 1766 in Roßlau.
Christoph Krämer, a tailor (Schneider), his wife Maria, and daughter Johanna (age 1), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Christoph Krahmer [sic] and his wife Anna Augustina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Orlovskaya on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt in 1768.
The widow and children of Christoph Krämer are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka120. Additional children of Christoph Krämer are believed to be recorded in Households No. Ka074 and Ka099 on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt.
The 1767 census records that Johann Christian [sic] Krämer came from the German village of Düben in Sachsen (Saxony).
