Johann Adam Grentz [sic] from Stahlen in the area of Riedesel & Eleonora Werner from Lautern in the area of Erbach were married on 22 April 1766 in the City Lutheran Church of Friedberg.
[Johann] Adam Krentz, a farmer, and his wife Eleonora arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Jungfer Friederika under the command of Skipper Christian Korsholm.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. Johann Adam Krentz is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 131 along with his new wife Katharina.
The 1767 census records that Johann Adam Krentz came from the German village of Steeden in the Runkel region.
