Johann Krisnel [sic], a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Maria Christina, and son Johann [Christoph] (age 2-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schäfer in Household No. 39. They had settled there on 1 August 1766.
Christoph Kristenzel and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schäfer in Household No. Sf34 along with his mother Christina.
This family does not appear to continue in Schäfer on subsequent censuses.
The 1767 census records that Johann Krisnel came from the German town of Dresden in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
