Johannes Kühn, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 5; Johann, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 88.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Kühn came from the German region of Laubach.
