Christian Kühn, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 27 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 35.

The 1767 census records that Christian Kühn came from the German village of Lommartzsch in Sachsen (Saxony).
