Thomas Lagrelli was born in approximately 1790. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians.
He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt.
He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Brabander in Household No. 87 as having moved there from Paulskaya [in 1825], on the 1850 Census of Brabander in Household No. 102, on the 1857 census of Brabander in Household No. 122 along with a note that he died there in 1850.
