Johann Lattenbach, a mason (Maurer), and his wife Helena Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Dehler on 26 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.
The 1767 census records that Johann Lattenbach came from the German village of Menning in Bayern (Bavaria).
