Lauchner
An article by Wilhelm Funk records the following going to Russia:
Joh. Lauchner, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), son of the deceased Joh. Lauchner, a cobbler (Schuhmacher) in Wolkenstein in the area of Bamberg, Catholic, & Barbara Winter, daughter of Melchior Winter, a farmer (Bauersmann) from Aalen in Swabia, Lutheran, were married on 30 May 1766 in the Lutheran Church in Wöhrd.
Johann Lauchner, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heinrich Sager.
Johannes Lauchner and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hölzel on 11 September 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 56 along with a new wife, Margaretha.
In 1797, Johann Georg Lauchner moved from Hölzel to Dehler.
The 1767 census records that Johann Lauchner came from the German village of Untersteinbach in the Bamberg region.
