Johann Wilhelm Lautal, a tailor (Schneider), his wife Maria Katharina, and children (Anna Maria, age 14; Georg Friedrich, age 6; Louisa Katharina, age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kraft in Household No. 60.

They had settled in Kraft on 18 August 1767.

Georg Lautal is recorded on the 1798 census of Stephan in Household No. Sp02.

Georg Lautal is recorded on the 1834 census of Stephan in Household No. 46.

The death of Georg Lautal in 1838 is recorded on the 1850 census of Stephan in Household No. 85.

The 1767 census records that Johann Wilhelm Lautahl came from the German town of Berlin.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
