Lehmann (Warenburg)
Widower Martin Lehmann, a weaver, and his son Christoph Heinrich (age 20) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 aboard the galliot Der Jan with the Skipper Markus Dragun.
Son Heinrich Lehmann is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Son [Christian] Heinrich Lehmann, a weaver, settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 152 along with his new wife Anna Margaretha (age 23).
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Martin Lehmann came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony). The 1767 census records that Heinrich Lehmann came from the German village of Born.
