Simon Leindecker, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughters (Anna, age 23; Barbara, age 17½; Katharina, age 11) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767. The daughters are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33 where the oldest daughter Anna Maria is married to Peter Philipp.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Simon Leindecker came from the German region of Mainz.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Leindecker family among the Volga German colonies.
