Lenz (Dönhof)
Just Lenz, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Dönhof on 18 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 78 along with his new wife Elisabeth.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Just Lenz was a tailor while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Just Lenz came from the German region of Isenburg.
