Lenz (Krasnoyar)
Johann Ludwig Lenz, his wife Clara, and his mother Anna Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767. Ludwig Lenz is recorded there as a widower on the 1767 census in Household No. 70.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Ludwig Lenz was a stonemason while the 1767 census records tha the was a farmer.
Both documents record that Johann Ludwig Lenz came from the German region of Laubach.
