Christian Leschhorn, a tailor, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Catharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.
Christian died after arriving in Russia and his widow Elisabeth remarried to Johann Georg Bäcker. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kaneau on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 53 with the surviving Leschhorn daughter, Ursula.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Leschhorn came from the German region of Rusbach.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of the Leschhorn family among the Volga German colonies.
