Albrecht Lex, a farmer, and his wife Marianna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Danzig galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Skipper Johann Heschke.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 1 March 1767 where they are recorded, along with their new-born daughter, on the 1767 census in Household No. 68.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Albrecht Lex came from Marienburg, Poland.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
