Konrad Liel, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Maria (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf in Household No. 8. They had settled in Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Liel came from the German village of Elberrod [Elbenrod?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
