Johann Lionier, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 2. They had settled in Enders on 27 March 1765.

The 1767 census records that Johann Lionier came from the German village of Mitau in the Kurland region and that his wife came from the town of Rilik in Denmark.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
