Jakob Litke, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Maria [age not recorded] arrived from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 May 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Jacob Janson.

They settled in the colony of Hussenbach and are recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Hs036.

The death in 1806 of Jakob Litke is recorded on the 1811 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 36. There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
