Georg Lochmann, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English barque named George under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Georg Lochmann and his wife Elisabet are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 7 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 18 along with his new wife Elisabeth and an orphan Peter Schwarz (age 18). The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Lochmann and Schwarz families.
In 1786, Georg Lochmann and his family moved from Paulskaya to the Caucasus. They returned to Paulskaya where he died.
His widow and children moved to Schaffhausen.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Lochmann came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Georg Lochmann came from the German village of Bach in the Darmstadt region.
