Johannes Christoph Login, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schulz on 8 September 1766. He and his wife Maria Elisabeth are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Christoph Login came from the German village of Insterburg in the region of Prussia. The 1767 census records that his wife, Maria Elisabeth, came from the village of Recklingen in the region of Hannover.
