Johann Lorei, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 20) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English frigate named Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Johannes Lorei (age 41), a farmer, and his wife Anna Elisabeth (age 48) are recorded on the 1767 census of Messer in Household No. 65. They had arrived there on 18 June 1767.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann[es] Lorei came from the German region of Isenburg.
