Discussion & Documentation

Simon Lombar, a farmer, his wife Anna Maria, and daughter Anna Elisabeth (age 10) settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 26 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 89.

The 1767 census records that Simon Lombar came from the French town of Paris.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendant lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
