There are 3 Johann Loresch families that settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Karaman on 22 June 1767 after arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii. Two of them are recorded as siblings on the Oranienbaum passenger list (1 & 3). The other one is presumed to be related.

(1) Johannes Loresch (age 21) and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 34.

Johann Loresch and his new wife Anna Barbara Stahl are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. Sk23.

Michael Loresch, son of this Johann, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 39.

(2) Johann Loresch (age 32) and his wife Susanna are recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 39.

Johann Loresch, his wife Susanna Heimbuch, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. Sk27.

Johannes Loresch, son of this Johann, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Karaman in Households No. 42 & 60.

(3) Johannes Larösch, the younger, from Rosbach in the region of Thun [Thüngen] & Rosina Schæd from Rosbach in the region of Thüngen were married on 7 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Johann Loresch (age 30) and his wife Anna Rosina are recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 44.

Johann Loresch, his wife Rosina Scheidt [sic], and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. Sk07.

Kaspar Loresch, son of this Johann, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 2.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that all three came from the German region of Dienheim.
