Christoph Lotz, a farmer, his wife Eleonora, and children (Christian, age 10; Katharina, age 2 mo.) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits (Household No.18) that is appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.

Son Christian is recorded on the 1798 census of Zürich in Household No. Zr37.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Lotz came from the German village of Riegersdorf [?].
