Ludwig (Enders)*
Georg Jakob Ludwig, his wife Anna Eva, and their children (Maria Katharina, age 12; Heinrich Friedrich, age 4) immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) arriving in the city of Schleswig on 6 June 1761. They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 4 January 1765.
They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Enders probably on 27 March 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 31.
The Eichhorns record that Georg Jakob Ludwig was a Tagelöhner (day laborer) from "Württemberg oder Markgrafschaft Baden-Durlach." The 1767 census records that Georg Ludwig was a farmer from the German region of Stuttgart.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ludwig family among the Volga German colonies.
