Mühl (Warenburg)
Johann [Heinrich] Mühl, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Mauritius, age 17½; Maria, age 14; Christian, age 10; Susanna, age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.
Joh. Heinrich Muhl, his wife Margaretha, and children (Moritz, age 17; Maria Elisabeth, age 14; Christian, age 10; Susanna, age 8; Heinrich Christoph, born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 83.
The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Mühl came from the German village of Altenbüren in the region of Darmstadt.
