Anton März, a farmer, his wife Christina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 10½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 May 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Katharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Rehder.
Anton März (age 36), a farmer, his wife Christina (age 38), and daughter Elisabeth (age 12) are recorded on the 1767 census of Leichtling in Household No. 32. They had arrived in Leichtling on 14 May 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anton März came from the German region of Ebing. The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Regensburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this März family among the Volga German colonies.
