Nicolaus Masen [sic], his wife Elisabeth, children (Catharina [age not recorded]; Nicolaus, age 8), and mother-in-law Margreth. are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Nikolaus Masson, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, son Nikolaus (age 9), and mother-in-law Margaretha Fik [?] (age 56) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 49. They had arrived in Brabander on 19 August 1767.
In 1788, Nikolaus Masson moved from Brabander to Dehler.
