Meder (Holstein)
[Heinrich] Martin Meder, a single farmer from Saxony, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Kronstadt under the command of Lieutenant Samuel Gibbs.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Holstein on 7 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43 along with his new wife Anna Maria.
In 1794 [sic], Johann Peter Meder left Dönhof.
In 1795 [sic], Heinrich Martin Meder and his family moved from Holstein to Dönhof.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Martin Meder came from the German village of Langenstein in Sachsen (Saxony).
