Michael Meier, a farmer, his wife Christina, and son Hans Adam (age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kamenka in Household No. 13. They had settled there on 6 July 1765.

Michael Meier and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kamenka in Household No. Km013. Son Johann Adam (noted above) and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kamenka in Household No. Km085.

The 1767 census records that Michael Meier came from the German town of Frankfurt am Main.
