Meier (Krasnoyar-2)
Peter Meier, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Anna Elisabeth, age 9; Philipp, age 7; Johann Konrad, age 4; Kaspar, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled inthe Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 99.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Meier came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Nidda in the Darmstadt region.
