Johann [Peter] Meinhard, his wife Julianna, and daughters (Henrietta, age 8½; Anna Katharina, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 24 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 57.
In 1788, Peter Meinhard and his family moved from Reinwald to Rosenheim.
