Gottfried Mettich, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna Rosina, age 18; Johann, age 14) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 32.

Widower Gottfried Mettich is recorded on the 1798 census of Susannental in Household No. Ss14.

The 1767 census records that Gottfried Mettich came from the German village of Mockritz.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
