Milchen
Heinrich Milchen arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Jager under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild along with his mother and stepfather, Balthasar Niesser.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Preuss on 15 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62.
Heinrich Milchen and several members of the Niesser family evidently moved to Seelmann at some point. Heinrich Milchen and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Household No. Sm52.
Some documents erroneously translate this surname as Milchner.
