Hans Georg Ming, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Anna Wilhelmina, and daughters (Katharina Agnessia, age 2½; Regina, age ¼) are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No 12. They had settled in Enders on 27 July 1765.

The 1767 census records that Hans Georg Ming came from the German village of Lanz near Wittenberge.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
