Franz Ludwig Mondieu, his wife Margaretha [sic], and daughters (Anna, age 20; Theresia, age 15¼; Anna [again], age 14; Maria, age 7½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.

Frantz Ludwig Montje [sic], his wife Maria Eva [sic], and daughters (Anna Barbara, age 20; Theresia, age 15¼; Anna Maria, age 14; Marianna, age 7½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughters Anna Barbara, Theresia, and Marianna died en route.

Franz Ludwig Moni [sic], a hunter (Jäger), his wife Maria, and daughter Anna (age 16) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schönchen in Household No. 42. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Franz Ludwig Moni came from the French village of Cambrai.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
