Discussion & Documentation

There are multiple Müller lines in Frank.

Johann Martin Müller, a farmer, his wife Katharina Elisabeth, and son Anton (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the pink Slon [English: Elephant] under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Johann Martin Müller, a farmer from Hessen-Darmstadt, and his wife, Christina, settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 75.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Martin Müller came from the region of Hessen.
