Johann Konrad Müller, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Schäfer on 1 August 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 10 along with his new wife Anna Barbara (from the German region of Zweibrücken).

Konrad Müller and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schäfer in Household No. Sf02.

The 1767 census records that Johann Konrad Müller came from the German region of Sachsen-Gotha.
